Flare n’ Derrick Community Hall

Built by the Town circa 1974, the Flare n’ Derrick Community Hall continues to serve as the heart of the community, functioning as a location for local fundraisers, concerts, weddings and celebrations.

Hall Rentals

The community Hall is located at 129 Main Street NE, behind the Sheep River Library, adjacent to Millennium Park.

For information on renting and the associated costs, please refer to the Flare ‘n Derrick Community Hall Rental Agreement. To help you plan your next event, a floor layout marks the room locations and sizes inside the Flare n’ Derrick.

All events hosted in the Flare n’ Derrick Community Hall require proof of insurance. If the host organization does not already hold valid insurance it may be purchased for special events through AMSC Insurance Services Ltd. by submitting the following Facility User Group Insurance Application form to the municipal office.

If applicable, a liquor licence may also need to be obtained directly through the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission by the user group.
